Libasé Salon & Spa has moved to Warren in order to offer its clients a bigger space and more services. After being in Berkeley Heights for many years, the owner and staff look forward to welcoming back their current clients and developing relationships with new ones.
“In this bigger space, we can welcome bridal groups and host small events such as girls’ nights out and birthday parties,” says Naz, the owner, who has been in the beauty industry for 25 years.
Naz is a Bumble and Bumble Network educator and is a master in the latest hair trends and techniques for highlights, ombré and balayage. She has advanced training in airbrush makeup, and years of experience with hair extensions. She has also attended international beauty shows in London, Paris, Toronto, Las Vegas and New York.
Libasé Salon & Spa focuses on using the most innovative and environmentally-friendly products for all types of individuals. For example, their organic hair color is free of ammonia, PPD, parabens, and other harsh ingredients that can cause allergic reactions. They use Goldwell hair coloring products which are brilliant and gentle, so if someone is very sensitive, has an allergy, is going through chemotherapy, or is pregnant, it’s safe to use, says Naz.
The spa also provides different types of facials, from antiaging to acne treatment. They do not use BOTOX®, and there are no injections involved. Instead, they use Hydradermie Lift Treatment that stimulates the muscles and tightens the skin to give an instantaneous younger appearance. It also helps drain fluids, and is totally non-invasive.
“This is for people who don’t want injections to their face,” says Naz.
Other services include keratin treatments, massages, waxing, makeup, updo’s, manicures, pedicures, and more. Everyone on staff, she says, is certified for color and skin care and has gone for professional training.
“The spa is very nice,” says Naz. “It’s very relaxing with soft music, luxury, beautiful décor and ambience. We entice everyone to enjoy the experience of beauty and wellness.”
The salon also carries an assortment of products from Bumble and Bumble, Goldwell and Guinot. Spa packages are available, as are gift cards.
Libasé Salon & Spa welcomes both men and women, and they are focused on keeping staff and clients safe during this time. All clients must wear a mask while inside the spa, and there are markers in the reception area to keep everyone six feet apart. They ask all clients to please wash their hands, and they also provide hand sanitizer and wipes throughout the spa for people to use upon entering and leaving.
Plexiglass shields have been installed at the reception desk, and staff will wear masks when servicing guests. They are also doing spaced bookings in order to limit the spa’s capacity and to leave time for sanitizing after each service.
