The Showcase Magazine - Articles

In the spirit of continually Giving Back, this column Showcases three meaningful organizations and charities that are doing amazing work and would appreciate your donations of time and/or money.

Please remember that generous donations are critical to our neighbors down the street, across the nation and around the world.

The Showcase will feature charities in every issue with the hopes that one will stand out and become special to you. From all of us at The Showcase Magazine we wish you a wonderful relaxing summer!

Our staff offer a range of needed services, including onsite and virtual skills and employment training, job placement services and other community-based supports, such as career counseling, financial education and rsum preparation. Every 27 seconds of every business day, a person served by Goodwill earns a new job. Learn more about how your donations create jobs for others. Our car donation program was born of a single brainstorm we had back in 1994. Rather than rely on private donations and traditional fundraising methods to support our growing charity, wed provide a public service that would send a steady stream of revenue directly to our charity programs. We also made the decision to process all car donations in house, allowing the full proceeds of each donation to go directly to our charity programs.
