In the spirit of continually Giving Back, this column Showcases three meaningful organizations and charities that are doing amazing work and would appreciate your donations of time and/or money.
Please remember that generous donations are critical to our neighbors down the street, across the nation and around the world.
The Showcase will feature charities in every issue with the hopes that one will stand out and become special to you. From all of us at The Showcase Magazine we wish you a Happy & Peaceful Holiday Season!

The SAVE shelter facility has the capacity to house upwards of 100 animals at a time (approximately 75 cats and 25 dogs). Our number of adoptions is growing every year. In 2018, we reached our adoption goal of 600 dogs and cats being placed in loving homes - nearly 80 more adoptions than the year before. SAVE is not supported by your tax dollars and does not receive funding at the local, state or federal levels.
Our Mission
Founded in 1941, SAVE is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit animal shelter dedicated to protecting the health and welfare of homeless companion animals in the greater Princeton area. Through six core programs of Rescue, Shelter, Health and Welfare, Spay/Neuter, Adoption, and Humane Education, SAVE focuses on the rehabilitation and successful placement of treatable and adoptable animals. SAVE endeavors to build, foster, and strengthen the human-animal bond.

OUR WORK
We support families who have lost the littlest of souls far too soon.
Donated wedding dresses are transformed into beautiful infant burial gowns, also called Angel Gowns. These gowns along with thoughtfully filled memory boxes are offered to hospitals, birthing centers, funeral homes and directly to grieving families completely free of charge.
We have a dedicated board of directors and an amazing network of volunteers from all parts of the US who set aside some of their time in the hopes of providing just a little comfort to a family going through the unthinkable tragedy of losing a baby. With 1 in 4 pregnancies ending in a loss, there's no shortage of grieving families who could use some compassion. Our volunteers are constantly thinking of programs to offer these families along with creative ways to raise money to help make this non-profit sustainable. Soon, we would like to be able to help families financially with burial expenses or covering bills from missing work.
Please take some time to look through our website or Facebook to see how you might be able to volunteer or support our mission of helping families. Please contact us with any questions or feedback you may have. www.evefoundation.org
